Apply to join Bancroft Farmers Market

2024 Season

We are accepting applications for our 2024 market season.

If you are local and have something new and unique to offer then we'd love to hear from you!

​

All products you intend to sell at market must be listed on your application along with photographs showing examples. Upon receiving your submission, the team will review your application and respond by email.

 

If you wish to introduce new products during the market season you must first email us with a description and photograph for approval before you do so. Please read the criteria for Farmer's Market and Artisan Market carefully and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Farmers & Producers; All products must be grown and/or produced by you at your home farm. Meat products must be butchered in accordance with regulations in an approved & licensed facility. Reselling of meat, produce, honey, maple syrup etc from other sources/suppliers is strictly prohibited.

Preserves; All products must be made by you in your inspected home kitchen or a premesis that is fully inspected/certified for this purpose.

Food Vendors; You must be a certified food handler and operate from inspected/certified premises. The conduct of your market table must be compliant with HPE Public Health regulations.

Bakers; All goods must be made by you in your inspected home kitchen or a premesis that is fully inspected/certified for this purpose.

We are a dedicated farmer's market and as such we can only give spots to a few artisan vendors each season. Following some discussion with our sponsors and insurer, we are excited to be able to run the Bancroft Artisan Market alongside the Farmer's Market starting on August 10, 2024! So if you are a local artist and would like to join us on a Saturday, please reach out to the team at

Wood Products; Items offered for sale must be made by you in your own shop. Reselling of factory produced blanks will not be accepted.

Fibre Artists; Items made by you of your own design in your home residence or studio are permitted.

Soap & Body Products; Must be designed and made by you in your home residence or studio. You should be fully insured and all products must be labelled correctly in accordance with national guidelines.

Other Artisans; All art and craft items offered for sale must be of your own design and making. Whilst we understand that raw materials may be purchased wholesale/bulk from other suppliers, the finished product should be unique and solely yours.

Spiritual Services; No spiritual products and/or services are to be offered at market.

Musicians; If you are a local musician and would like to come and play at market, please email us. We'd be delighted to accmmodate you. Please keep song lyrics family friendly!

We reserve the right to refuse vendors who are in breach of these guidelines.
